CCSM Benefits

I recently acquired my CCSM Certification for R80. I had the previous CCSM as well.I noticed on the Check Point Certification page for R80.X it mentions one of the Benefits of a CCSM is the ability to "Bypass wait times and Fast Track to a Support Engineer". What exactly does this mean?Do I call Check Point Support and give my Check Point ID#?I assume a support contact must exist first.?Just curious, as there really wasn't any direction provided regarding to this benefit.RegardsDave Taylor

CCSE Update certification not valid to take CCSM?

HiI am trying to schedule CCSM for R80, but I get an error that I need to pass 156-315.80(CCSE R80) first. I have passed 156-915.80 (CCSE UPDATE R80), so I am on a valid CCSE certificate...Is this an error or by design? How do I proceed to schedule the CCSM exam for R80 in my case? EDIT (Adding the error):Check Point Software Technologies policy requires that you have passed the prerequisite to be eligible for this exam. Prerequisite: 156-315.80, 156-115.77. Please consult the Check Point Education Services FAQ for details. If you passed the prerequisite exam using a different Pearson VUE account, please contact Pearson VUE to have these accounts merged. According to FAQ: Prerequisite for CCSM: CCSE R80 or CCSM R77My certificate CCSE R80 update is on the same pearson account as I am trying to schedule the exam with.

156-315.80 Question that was not covered in the course or course manual?

I'm not sure if this is the proper place to put this, but I'm concerned the current CCSE 156-135.80 test is not coinciding with the course ware. The testing centers have feedback quizes and comments during the test, but I don't see an avenue to comment on the tests once you get back home and realized things like this. There was a specific question on the test I believe about a default value of a NAT feature, maybe connection table or some thing like that, I didn't memorize the question. But the answers I do remember, and upon doing full text search of the course manual I could not find any of the answers. I won't post them here, due to confidentiality etc. Since I failed the exam and can't find the answers I'm rather concerned. Having missed the passing score by two points and not knowing the weight of each question, this one question could mean the difference of $250!!! If there are any checkpoint testing employees monitoring these forums, I'd love to get some discussion going on this.

CCSE R80 - Study Recommendations

Hey guys,I am planning to achieve the CCSE R80 in the upcoming months, this summer. In about 2 weeks I will attend the official training to get a first overview and look into the topics. After pre-checking the CCSE R80 website I realized that the study guide is outdated and still refering to the R77 exam. So I searched through CheckMates and found out, that the R80 CCSE study guide is still in development and the currently available study methods appear to be:- the offcial training- the test exam (after studying, to verify your knowledge)- the exam overview that lists all the topicsNow my question is, do you guys have any recommendations do study for the CCSE R80 right now? I achieved my CCSA R80 about one year ago and never really worked with systems under R80 (except 64k appliances that run 76.50, but the management server is running R80 or some lab environments). So I am not sure if the "outdated" study guide is still fine to use.If you can recommend me any books or video courses (or websites/in general any information) I'd be very glad. Thanks in advance and best regards,Maik
