SmartEvent Running on AWS
Hi,
We are installing a management in AWS, the main goal of this is to use it as a dedicated SmartEvent Server. The Mgmt will be on premises, also the firewalls. We have a Direct Connect, so the comunication is normal, not using internet nor VPN, just layer 3 routing.
We have deployed the SME 2 times, one from the market place and another one using cloudformation. None of the deployments have worked, we basically can create the object, stablish SIC, install database, bue we cannot login into the SmartEvent Console to install SE policies. My question is, is this deployment allowed? I cannot find documentation saying it is not supported or something telling us that it is.

Yes, you can run management (including SmartEvent, standalone or otherwise) in AWS and it's supported.
I suspect the issue you're having is a networking/security groups configuration issue.

It is allowed, I know customer who uses that and works fine. What is the error you get when you try to log in?
