Couple of suggestions
1) When you click Publish in Smart Console, it tells you 'Total draft changes'. It would be nice if you could display the changes made in the session, possibly even fill them in the description automagically as an easy way to review the changes you are proposing.
2) When reading SK's in support, it might be cool to have a link that says, 'Ask about this SK in Checkmates', maybe it does a query to see if any matching info in Checkmates and if not, posits creation of a new post.

Showing changes made in a session is something that’s been available since R80.10.
See: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?action=portlets.SearchResultMainAction&eve...
I like the second suggestion, but will admit, I’m biased 🙂

Yes - you get to see the the changes you made and even history tab or last policy you get to know the changes published.
Of course 2nd one its a great suggestion; in fact I most of the time rely on chekmates rather than sks even after looong experience with CheckPoint.

By the way @Tony_Graham , just to demonstrate what I meant with R81.20 change, for point 1, you can see in my screencaps below. I find it super USEFUL( this comes up once you click publish). Once you click on "show changes" you will get 2nd window. Could not fit whole thing, but you get an idea.

Looks nice. Will be updating to 81.20 Q1 of next year. Not generally a great idea
to rollout new stuff around the holidays. You can ruin a lot of people's vacations. 🙂

How is the response for R81.20 by the way; though I would still refrain myself from putting into production.

Personally, I like it. Though, I agree, would not put it in production yet.

2) - write that yourself, just a little scripting exercise ! OpenSearch Plugins are very easy. Template:
