Change concurrent connections in VS

hi all,

i want to change the concurrent connections on 1 VS because the current is more 70% from maximal. i know change concurrent connections from smart1 in tab optimization. 

my question is : how about the traffic if i update concurrent connections in vs because this is production traffic? will be interrupt or drop or still pass through ? or what the effect for traffic?

Depends on what you have Connection Persistence set to after policy install.

We have been doing it during broad daylight for years without any impact as far as I can remember.

I never had any issues with changing the values during daytime.

One way to simply check the status of the connections is by running the command vsx stat -l 

It will show the set, max used and current values.
