For the Management Server
Network Adapter 0 should be bridged - make sure you choose the right adapter what you use for the ethernet or wifi
Network Adapter 1 should be Vmnet 1 - Coz you are connecting other interface to Gateway
For the Gateway
Network Adapter 0 should be bridged - make sure you choose the right adapter what you use for the ethernet or wifi
Network Adapter 1 should be Vmnet 1 - Coz we need to connect gateway to Management server. so it is going to be the same Vmnet1 we used for management server.
and Network adapter 2 - Vmnet2 - if you are connecting it to any other network. in my case i am using gns3 router
once you start from gns3, Vmware adapter settings changes automatically. coz gns3 itself assumes the required adapters to start the VM in which it takes other than required adapters. that causes connectivity issues between 2 Vms which further require manual correct adapter settings.
