VSX Snapshot R81.10

Sure this has been asked before.

Just wanted to check we are running a VSX cluster with a number of VSX firewalls running on this, I have been advised that each of these would need to be individually done as a separate snapshot. Is this the case or do I just need to carry out a single snapshot, and this will back them all up, as read a number of articles that recommend this method. 

 

Aware that I need to backup the management appliance at the same time.

Single snapshot of the gateway.

You might use a different approach depending on the use case / scenario however.

Hi @Peter_Dray 

Long story short:

The soul of the  VSX is on its MGMT. This setup is fully different from a single cluster, therefore there is no possibility to take a snapshot of a single VS.
