Remote Access VPN keeps reconnecting
Hello everyone,
My workplace has Check Point VPN set up so I can tunnel in and remotely access my work desktop. However, recently when I tried to connect to the VPN on my PC, it stays connected for about 30-60 seconds and then keeps reconnecting but couldn't reconnect to my workplace network. Also, my PC's network essentially goes down after the VPN disconnects, and it won't come back up even when I shut it down via Task Manager. I have to restart my PC for my network to work normally.
Here are the things I've tried:
- The symptoms started randomly after I updated my PC, so I tried rolling back my updates and repairing them.
- Uninstalling and reinstalling all of my network drivers.
- I tried to connect to the VPN with my personal laptop and phones, and they worked normally.
- I tried using both E82.40 (the version my workplace instructions use) and E88 (the newest one).
I'm thinking this might be a driver malfunction, and I haven't tried reinstalling my Windows OS yet. Is there any other possible cause for this problem?

I would suggest to open SR# with CP TAC to get this resolved asap!

What version/build level of Windows?
I’d try E88.62, which should work with Windows 11 24H2:
