I installed JHFA Take 111 on two lab Smart-1 appliances. In both cases, after installing the JHFA, manual backups would fail with error "Cannot complete the backup process: not enough space in /var/log/CPbackup/backups. I was able to complete a manual backup before installing Take 111 and after uninstalling Take 111 on one of the appliances.

A TAC case has been opened and they are looking into it.

I see there is a defect PRJ-63298 with no SK, "The CloudGuard Network Central License utility fails to distribute the license, if there are duplicate entries of the license on the Security Management Server."

Wondering if there is a way to check for duplicate license entries.

Caution: after reviewing the backup issue with TAC, they confirmed that:

"...change was made in JHF Take 111 and Management server backups now include the log directories by default."

You may find (as we did) that the inclusion of the log directories prevents backups from completing due to space issues.

Nothing in the release notes about this change (that I saw). Could be an impactful change people would like to proactively know about.

Installed it on Maestro (T99 > T111)

(MHO-140, 4x6200, 1 SG no-vsx)

Found immediate performance issues. load average of members sky rocketing and environment going completely unresponsive, specially after policy push.

Performance only improved when getting at least 2 of the 4 members down, strangely.

I didnt raise a ticket as  i was in the middle of something else and had to uninstall the take, everythign fine after downgrading to 99.

Will be hesitating to install this take in Maestro until i don't see a Maestro  Fix 🙂
