hey

how can we monitor the management services startup ? 

on R77.30 we usually would wait for the fwm proccess CPU consumption to get low.

what is the trigger on R80.10 ?

Yes. $MDS_FWDIR/scripts/cpm_status.sh should do the trick.

$MDS_FWDIR = one env variable which works both for SmartCenter and for Multi-Domain servers. Not all files can work with this variable, this particular script can.

Thanks for the trick. Does the same exist for gateways? I mean, a simple command to make sure that all services have started successfully and a policy has been loaded (including InitialPolicy)?

The above command is for management only.

As far as I know there isn't a equivalent for gateways (which might have many different processes depending on the configuration).

That said, "cpstat -f policy fw" is an easy check, which should tell you that the various cpd processes are running and a policy is loaded.

True, cpstat is useful when running the command manually. I am trying to avoid greping the output of cpstat... (I need to execute the command using a bash script).
