R80.10 Smartlog takes the current log only

Hi Team,

R80.10 smart console Logging and Reports Tab whenever opens it takes current fw.log only and I see the below filter is activated by default. Any idea why?

This means you're in 'Non-Index' mode (replacing the Old/R77.x Smartview Tracker, but very similar = querying each log-files & fairly slowly).

Open your SA/Mgmt object > Logs > Activate Log-Indexing > Install database.

by default, if it's a Standlone Mgmt/GW or less than 4 CPU-cores, then it starts in Non-Index mode to avoid over-burdening your Server.

I assume your server can handle the R80.10 Log-Indexing (new SmartLog), then please activate it.
