How to choose an open server

Dear all,

I am trying to install and use the management server software on the open server.

"Quantum management software: Security Management for 5 GWs"

I checked the hardware compatibility list, but I'm not sure which model is right for me.

I want to know which open server can manage 5 gateways.
For reference, we are considering between Dell and HP.

Please give me the right advice.

Thanks.

A wide-spread practice is to install the SMS as a VM. HW for SMS depends more on if SmartEvent is being used and the amount of logs generated.

I would think that as long as you meet the resource requirements, your only concern regarding compatibility is that your hypervisor is compatible with your hardware.

You should also review sk104848 as it addresses best practice for deploying your SMS as a VM.

Thanks for your update.

When using it as a VM, do I need to consider the hardware compatibility of the server?
