Export from MDS R81.10 to MDS R81

Hello,

i am asking if this procedure could work :

I need to migrate customer policies (Network and IPS) from MDS R81.10 to my MDS R81 Take: 74

Migrate export procedure is working between these different versions ?

I know in days before R80, people could get say upgrade tools from $FWDIR/bin/upgrade_tools dir and copy them over to lower version and then do the process and it did work, I had done it myself few times and was fine. Does it work in R80+? Honestly, I have no clue, as I never tried it and not even sure it would be supported.

Maybe someone from CP can give an official statement about it.

To the best of my knowledge, the official migration tools only support upgrading or same version.
They do not support downgrading.
For that, you'll have to use an API-based tool like one of the following:
