DHCP on external interface. How to get full IP details

I am setting up a Gaia R80.20 firewall in my home lab. The Internet facing interface obtains an IP from my ISP but I am unsure what the default gateway is. How can I get the full DHCP lease details on the Gaia firewall? ie: IP, mask, gateway, DNS, etc

Take a look at the /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient.leases file

It provides the information about the data received from the upstream dhcp server.

Hi J Saun,

It depends on the type of internet connection you have? Is it a PPPOE connection? What is the purpose for needing those details when obtaining via DHCP?

It's not PPPOE. It's Cable Internet. I need the gateway for the IP they provide so I can set my default route.

I know this is old, but i just ran across this. Take a look at enabling "Kernel Routes", and you could receive the default route from the DHCP request. This helped me when my ip changed in my lab on a dynamic ip.
