Check SIC status without SmartConsole on Management

Hello,

I'm looking for Checking Sic Status on CLI instead of Smartconsole.

I know how to set it on CLI on Management side. push cert commands

I know how to set it on CLI on Gateway side. cp_conf commands.

I know how to check status on CLI on Gateway side. cp_conf commands.

Do we have a way to "Test Sic Status" on CLI on a GAIA management (with 28 firewalls associated).

regards,

Anthony Joubaire

You could run some innocent commend like ver from SMS following sk101047: How to manage Security Gateway using the "cprid_util" tool - cprid_util needs a working SIC, so it will fail if it is not established. The sk also shows how to send it to several GWs at once...

Hi Anthony,

The quickest way would be to use the cpconfig command:

1. Connect to the command line on the Security Gateway / Cluster member (over SSH, or console).

Note: For cluster, perform this procedure on Standby member first and then on the Active.

It should say "Trust Established" as highlighted in blue below:

2.PNG

I hope this helps.

Did you read the title ? It is : Check SIC status without SmartConsole on Management.

Did you read the users question at all ? It went : I know how to check status on CLI on Gateway side. cp_conf commands.

So he wants to know how to check SIC of GWs from SMS CLI !
