Bulk Tag management via SmartDashboard

Is there any way to do bulk tag management (e.g. setting tags on multiple objects) via the SmartDashboard.  I'd really like to just be able to highlight a bunch of objects in the explorer and set tags on them.

Don’t believe this is possible.
Pretty sure you can’t do this at the API level either.
More precisely, you have to set the tag on the relevant objects one by one, not “add this tag to these objects” via a single API call.

That's very unfortunate and shortsighted.  I'd imagine FWs like this have hundreds if not thousands of objects.  Mass management is definitely a desired feature set of any application I've ever used.  Oh well, hopefully CP gets that figured out.
