API Bulk-adding objects/policies fails when the number of them are big

Hi all,

First, this is not my experience. I am still not having enough time with CP to try API of it.

I heard one of my boss says API bulk adding operation always fails when the number of them are too big, maybe around 7000 or more.

I am quite a big fan of things which is new to me, and my head is not facing what I have to face, but how to utilise API.

I am going to take a look at API documents, but I am kind of curious about your thoughts/experiences on API.

Like what is it like to use API of CP? When does the usage of API comes into play most?

Any comments would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for your time reading my post!

There are known performance issues with the API if you try to commit too many changes at once.
In our Release Notes, there's a note about this.
The recommended number is 100 to ensure optimal performance.

Bulk operations and automation are the primary reasons I see the API used.
