Maestro appliances as ClusterXL, license question
We had two licensed appliances from a newly bought Maestro bundle. Is it allowed to use these appliances as ClusterXL installation without Maestro ?

Afaik this should not be restricted by licensing. There are only two differences:
- different software image for install is used for maestro and non-maestro appliances
- no copper ports included on bundled maestro appliances
We have had customers that first used the bundled appliances as Cluster XL nodes for a time before they were finally integrated in the new maestro deployment.

That's one of the benefits of Maestro: appliances can be repurposed as regular gateways (and vice versa).

I believe if it were prohibited, it would be documented somewhere.
To the best of my knowledge, it's not.
Pretty sure Account Services can confirm this as well.
