Checkpoint MDR vs MPR clarification

Hello.

Posting to XDR/XPR because it's the closest available board I could find (did not find one for MDR/MPR).

I'm trying to understand the differences between MDR and MPR services.

I see they are different services with different plans and pricing, but can't find anywhere an elaborate description of what's actually included.

I also could not get the infomation about what products do they cover, specifically I (as MSSP) would like to know if MDR covers clients with Harmony EDR + Email & Collaboration + Checkpoint Firewalls.

Thanks in advance!

MDR (Managed Detection and Response) is an industry term.
MPR is Check Point’s marketing term, as we prefer a Prevention first approach to all things.
We market it as MDR/MPR to promote "prevention" aspect while also acknowledging the standard industry term.
They are, in fact, the same offering.

I believe any of our products can be included as part of MDR.
For a more detailed conversation, reach out to your local Check Point office.
