CCSE renewal

Hi everybody,

My CCSE certification expire in August 2022 and I would like to renew it.

I read the Checkpoint FAQ but not clear for me.

The FAQ said :

I have a valid R80 CCSE, what are my next steps to maintain an Active certification status?
o Option 1 – You may extend the CCSE certification while the certification is still valid by passing one
Infinity Specialist Accreditation (ISA) exam for a 1-year extension (You may do this one time for a 1-year
extension on a valid CCSE)
 Passing a second ISA exam will award you the CCSM certification.
o Option 2 – You may retake the CCSE for another 2-year extension.

Do I need to pass the 156-315.80 or 156-915.80 ?

Of my understanding:

156-315.80 -> to get the CCSE certification

156-915.80 -> to renew the CCSE certification.

I'm right ?

You may recertify the CCSE with the 156-315.80 or 156-315.81.

We no longer have the 156-915.80 exam.

Thanks

You either update or upgrade.  Ideally, the best course is to take the next higher exam or specificalist exams like CCTE, CCVS, CCMS etc.  The one exception is, the R80 CCSE update exam (#156-315.80 or 156-315.81).  You may re-certify the R80 CCSE by taking this exam again.
