what is virtual MACs will start with?

Hi, could I ask what is virtual MACs will start with?

As we know, a conflict HA virtual Mac address in the different Fortinet HA cluster use the same group id, would the same situation occur when deploy the different check point firewall clusters in the network?

There will be no collision with Fortinet.

VMACs are unique per cluster, starting with the same three octets that most CP MACs start with, and including a unique cluster ID (and VS ID in VSX). The exact construction of the MAC used in VMAC mode is available in the admin guide:
