Dear all, I lost my password to access GAIA on my Checkpoint firewall 4600 R77 . Can anyone show me how to recover this password? Many thanks

Do you have ANY other admin accounts working on this appliance? If yes, just logging with any of them and set a new password for your own account.

If you do not have any other accounts working, look into sk92663

Please note both your hardware model & software version are no longer supported.

You should consider upgrading when possible.

Do you have access to the manager and is SIC established to the GW?  I ask this question because I faced the exact same problem ie.

Unable to login to the GW as admin password was not known.  Please confirm you have this scenario, if so will try and dig out what I did.

If this is the case you can also reset the admin user via the Checkpoint Manager in the CLI, which is alternative method to Val's suggestion of SK92663.

Use reset from Management with cprid_util:

If SIC is established, then absolutely cprid_util is the way to go.

You need a GAIA installation (e.g. in LAB) with known expert password to create an emergendisk !

Second what @Chris_Atkinson told you. Also, refer to below link and what Phoneboy advised:

https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/Reset-admin-password-for-R77-30-Management-server...

Btw, R77 has been unsupported for few years now, so your options are very limited.
