Interface was down when I add the virtual switch to the Virtual System
Hi Everyone,
I created a Virtual system and add interfaces leading to the virtual switch with one physical port. Once I add the interface to the virtual system the interface went down. I would like to ask if you have any idea to troubleshoot the interface down.
Regards,
AJ

When you say interface went down - where did you see it? Do you use cluster? If you used VLAN tags, have you allowed VLAN on trunk between two cluster members?

I saw the LED light of the interface was turned off but the when I checked the status using CLI( "show interface") the state was on. I didn't use VLAN on the interface.

Were you able to pass traffic through the interface though?

No, I will check the hardware component of the device using Hardware diagnostic tools. I'll let you know once I done.
