Cluster works fine but shows error on Smart Console

Hi All,

We have issue on one of customer.

So, on Smart Console Cluster showing alert notification but if we check on cli (cphaprob) there is no issue on the cluster. And also there is no issue as well on other function such as installing policy.

Any idea why the Smart Console wrong alert notification and how to solve the issue? We have reboot both the management and gateway but nothing change.

Anyway, I found solution mentioning about SmartView showing wrong alert on link below, but when I check further on solution only for R77.

So, its clear dashboard shows something wrong with ha02 member, but as @Sorin_Gogean indicated, hover over red x and it will tell you what exactly.

you need to review on red icon or Monitor, could be related to license or internet connection.

Hi @G_W_Albrecht@the_rock@Sorin_Gogean@Dario_Perez

Here the detail of error, its seems there is something wrong with the cluster, but if you see on the status of each member it's seems working as normal condition.

Thanks Regards

weird...ok, do below on both:

cphaprob state

cphaprob -a if

cphaprob list

cphaprob syncstat

If all good, check topology for clustered interfaces and go "get interfaces without topology"

It's also good to check which JHF is currently installed (cpinfo -y all).

I suggest to use this extension to have more details, even might be a cosmetic error on smart console

So, you see that the cluster reports an ClusterXL error, then you go and check that on each member,,,,

Graphically should be like :

Untitled.pngUntitled.png

and that should also tell/show why it's considering an ClusterXL problem.

enjoy,
