Check Point Appliances and Intel over voltage issue

I have got interesting question from customer, if Check Point appliances are affected by Intel over voltage problem (on 13th and 14th generation)?

Because I was not able to find any relevant info in KB, I'm asking here (TAC ticket will be next step).

Without disclosing specifics, we are not affected by this issue by my understanding of the processors affected.

CP does not disclose the used CPUs officially. I would ask your local CP SE for an answer to this question !

I agree with @G_W_Albrecht 100%. For questions like this one, I would absolutely contact your local SE and if need be, they can open TAC case themselves and get an official answer.

At least some of Check Point's branded servers are affected, yes. For example, the 9300 uses an i5 13400E.

You'll have to ask your sales reps to confirm whether a given branded box uses an affected processor.
