Access Roles Users

When you create a Access Role you have 3 options for users (Any user/ All identified Users/Specific Users).

What's the diference between choose Any User and All identified Users? As to have a user teorically it should be identified first. So what's the catch between these two options?

All Identified Users means any IP with a known username assigned.
All Users means any IP, whether or not a username is associated with it.
That assumes the Access Role doesn't include more specific definitions for networks, hosts, and/or Remote Access clients.
