Maestro Madness
Hello,
I got me a 1570 from ebay. The way it looks, it comes from bezeq. There is a corresponding logo on the front. After resetting to factory defaults, there is strangely enough an admin account called bezeqadmin. I could just delete this admin but I'd prefer to get rid of all corresponding settings.
Would it be possible to push a new default image like so: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/SMB_R81.10.X/AdminGuides_Locally_Managed/EN/Content/Topics/Rest...
update default-image from current-image preserve-settings yes force yes
I already installed a current image R81_10_07_996001430
Best regards
W
The unit is for educational purposes only. I can always get and install an eval licence. I would never use a device without proper license for production.
Updating firmware via USB worked so default image is now fw1_vx_dep_R81_10_07_996001430.img. The strange administrator account "bezeqadmin" was stil present after a factory reset.
So I decided to have a look to the console "Gaia Embedded Boot Menu". Delete preset configuration file and Delete branding file did the trick.
I would do an USB Flash Firmware Upgrade
Will be hard to get a license and services, though, if you have no access to eval lics...

Great job @HansWolf
