Configuring OSPF on SMB appliances

Hey guys,

I know that SMB appliances dont have option to configure ospf/bgp via web UI, and I know config is in /etc/routed.conf file, but I cant find any official documents/SKs on exactly how to configure this.

Would it be same commands as below like regular Gaia? Apologies, I dont have SMB box availabe to test.

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81_Gaia_Advanced_Routing_AdminGuide/T...

Any idea?

Thanks for the help as always!

Actually for the 1500/1600/1800s, R81.10.05GA firmware was just released with capabilities to configure ospf/bgp from WEBUI. (finally!)

As for the 700/1400s and older it is only possible with CLI.
I think you can find the link to the guide here.

Thanks mate, appreciated! I will let my colleague know who works often with this customer, but he told me he followed an sk from support site while ago to get this done, but its possible that sk may had been removed. By the way, I will let him know about newest firmware and the fact it lets you configure this via web UI (finally, eh? lol) and much easier.

Cheers and thanks again for all the info/links, very helpful.

Yes, definitely helps. Reading the routing guide, I think the clish commands are literally the same as regular Gaia OS. But, IM really glad this can now be done via web UI, makes it much easier.

Thanks again and have a great weekend!
