Hello there,
we face a problem with the windows 10 pro laptops that upgraded to 1809 version.
Users with those laptops connects through ssl vpn (snx) to our company,
our firewall has R77.30 take 5 , Deployment Agent build: 1573 .
When they manage to connect through ssl vpn, they start ping from cmd the desktop that they want to connect,
and then they start a remote desktop connection to a windows 10 pro 1809 desktop. Then ping replies stops with time out but pings for example to 8.8.8.8 are with terrible time responses and packet loss .
Also laptops with windows 10 1809 version can get remote desktop connection to any windows clients when they are in same lan including those that has the 1809 version. And laptops with windows 10 1809 version can get remote desktop connection to any windows clients through ssl vpn (snx) except those that has the 1809 version .
Other laptops that has the previous windows 10 1803 can get remote desktop connection through ssl vpn (snx) to
desktops that has windows 10 1809 version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ,
This is more of a Remote Access question.
Also, have you engaged the TAC with this question?
It sounds like a potential bug.
not yet, on Monday i'll contact our support team to open a checkpoint case ,
thanks you
Microsoft pulls Windows 10 October Update (version 1809) | ZDNet
Microsoft has paused the rollout of Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809), the latest version of the Windows 10 operating system, which Microsoft released this week, on Tuesday, October 2.
Straight from the horse's mouth:
We have paused the rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809)* for all users as we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating.
Also note that after a Major version change (this build qualifies as such) you have to give all developer time to match their products.
I suggest you read sk115192 on the generic policy for this.
