Office Mode - Internal DHCP Server - Client Host Name

Hi all,

In our lab we have set up Office mode with a windows DHCP server to issue leases to endpoint security clients connecting over VPN.

This works as it should but when looking on the DHCP server leases, its shows only the IP of the client and not the host name. The scope is configured to register the DNS entry on behalf of the client which doesn't happen likely due to the missing host name.

Is this a feature or should the DHCP server also receive the host name also when using OM?

Thanks

It turns out we hadn't enabled "om_extended_dhcp_params" iin teh global properties advanced as described in SK41453.

Enabled this and now DHCP shows the host name on the lease and DNS updates correctly.

Thanks again !

Hi G_W_Albrecht,

I will follow  SK108232 and report back once done (may take a short while).

Appreciate the response !
