MFA with MS Azure only for specific group of VPN users

We are currently using LDAP to authenticate Check Point Remote Access VPN users and it works fine. We want to deploy MFA with MS Azure. I've seen the white paper with the necessary instructions for the implementation. But we would like to, first, test MFA just for a group of VPN users, not all the users. Is it possible to enable MFA just for a group of users?
