Any ETA as to when a JHA is going to be blessed as "recommended" - it's been four months since 41 was released and three months since it was blessed as recommended.

thanks

Hi @D_TK

We are aware it has been a long time since our last recommended jumbo, unfortunately, we had some stability issues with Take 43 and 45 that prevented us from moving one of these takes to be recommended.

The new take we released today (53) contains several critical fixes that we hope will solve the stability issues  ( the known critical issues can be found in our jumbo important note section)

We will track this take closely (as we are doing with each take we released)  to make sure it meets our criteria to be recommended.

I hope in the next 2-3 weeks if all is ok with the take, we will be able to declare it as recommended

Thanks

Matan.

Alright, any info how many customers are running take 53 ?
I wouldnt trust it based on running ok in cloud, compared to appliance.

Hi @majkel

Please note we have KPIs to measure if the take can be recommended or not, one of them is the install base (and we have a very good install base on take 53  )

As I wrote, take 53 targets to be recommended in the next few days 🙂

Thanks

Matan.

Seems already to be recommended.

Maybe it's time to upgrade to version R81.20 now (?)

I will just quickly share experience from lab cluster update to jumbo 53, though Im 99.99% sure this was NOT due to jumbo at all.

fw01 - master

fw02- backup

Updated jumbo on fw02, rebooted, did same on master-rebooted. All fine, tried policy install, failing on master due to below, though Internet connectivity worked and SIC was fine

Checked  monitor tool, shows ips error, ended up rebooting that fw, all fine now.

Best,

Andy

Quite disappointing that this is still a recommeded Take with sk182112 still looming out there.
