vsx_util command execution fails with error:"failed to establish session with server."

Hello!

For some reason I can't access the vsx_util command anymore. It keeps giving me the following error:

Failed to establish connection with server.
Please verify connectivity with Domain Management Server,
authentication credentials and that this machine is defined as a GUI client.

I've tried with several different accounts. Both local admin account and a radius account. I also tried to both choose localhost and specifying the DMS server.

Does anyone have a clue on what this means?

Is it a MDS? If yes, which mdsenv is set and are you using IP of MDS or DMS (domain)?

Of course! I was in the wrong mdsenv. I blame it on the long holiday leave! Cheers for the quick reply!

Remember to log in with username that you use to log into SmartConsole not GAIA. Unless you use GAIA account to log into SmartConsole too. Just making sure..
