migrate server export r80.30 running for over 3 hours

Hello all-

I'm doing an advanced upgrade of a Smart1-410 appliance and during the migrate server export, it has been running for a long time. Currently, it has been running for almost 4 hours. Is this normal?

It is currently running r80.20.m2.

Is there a log file that I can look at to see where it is in the process?

Thanks

Sam

As you can find in sk98831: "Execution finished with errors" message on migrateimport / exportcommand failure:

See log file '/opt/CPshrd-R<XX>/log/migrate-DDD_MMM__D_HH-MM-SS_YYYY.log' for further details.

Also please consult sk133312: How to run a 'migrate export' or 'migrate import' command that survives a closed/timed-out... !

I would get the TAC involved, personally.

I probably should have engaged TAC but I did not...

My problem seems to have been that I ran out of space. The first time I exported I did it was logs & index. It appears that the tmp area that the migrate command works in, doesn't get cleaned up every time you run it or on its own when something happens.

once I cleaned up the files, I was able to execute the "migrate_server export" command (without logs), and it completed in maybe 30 minutes.

The rest of the advanced upgrade when as documented.
