Upgrade R80.10 to R80.30
Dear all,
I am migrating my MDS station from R80.10 JHF272 to R80.30 on VMware environnement
First, the upgrade was stuck on 58% but with the error message " Your Multi-Domain Server should NOT be running while you import."
after a while the upgrade cancelled with this error " Error: Silent update still not finished. Exiting on Timeout"
However, I followed this SK and then restart the upgrade I got the same error
Have someone encounters the same issue?
Thanks in advance for your help

Why R80.30 when R81 is the widely recommended release?
Even if you're fairly conservative, R80.40 is a far better choice than R80.30.
It's also the most widely used release at the moment.
In any case, the following SK should be helpful here: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?action=portlets.SearchResultMainAction&eve...

Hello,
Thank you for your update.
currently, I am testing the R80.30 and it's planned to upgrade to R80.40 but facing this king of issues during the Database export make me afraid.
Meanwhile, I will test to upgrade to R80.40 to see if I will get the same errors.
Regarding the SK, the link dont forward me to right SK

Hello,
after restoring the DB in the lab it seems that the IPS pkg in Global domain is outdated. Please, try to run IPS Update on Global domain and on other existing domains and execute the Upgrade again. This solved the issue in the lab.
If you still experience any issue, please, let me know.
Regards,
Irina.
