Smartconsole Web and Smartview with Identity Provider (SSO)
Hi all,
We're managing a customer that has requested to enable authentication to their MDM via an Identity Provider for SmartConsole access (through Azure AD). This setup is working fine for the normal version of SmartConsole, but they also use the web-version as well as SmartView.
With SmartConsole Web, as soon as the option for Single Sign On (SSO) is selected and "Login With SSO" is pressed, an error is returned "No Identity Provider Defined". The SmartView login page does not offer SSO at all. This goes for logins to the IP address of the MDS itself as for the IP addresses of the CMA's and on (at least) Edge, Chrome and Firefox.
According to https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/What-s-New-in-R81-20-TechTalk-Video-Slides-and-Q-... both SmartView and SmartConsole Web should be able to use SSO.
Is this functionality not yet available for Multi Domain Management, or are we missing something here?
