Problems with vlans after removal

Hi eXperts,

we encountered an issue with the migration from R77.30 to R80.10:

We removed the VLAN Interfaces and noticed that these settings, are gone but still visible in the "Interface table" of the Gateway object in SmartConsole. We did not find any occurrences in dbedit, though.

The following problem arises due to this: The cluster is likely to be unstable since the VLAN Interface does not exist.

We installed the latest Jumbo (take 70) which did not resolve this situation.

Is this problem generally known?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Kind regards,
Yasushi

Yasushi,

Please take a look at this thread: https://community.checkpoint.com/thread/6684-clusterxl-on-take70-does-not-function-properly and read the responses.

Disregard references to the ClusterXL in that thread, since those are not applicable to you, but the rest is.

It seems that R80.X management may be caching old data and to refresh it, you may either have to reboot management or flush the cache.

Regards,

Vladimir

Please verify absence of VLAN subinterfaces from CLI before attempting to refresh cache and let me know if this solution worked for you.
