Machine name from logging not correct

I founded issue when search the log. Some client machine name not correct when compare with hostname resolve.

From picture as below the correct name is desktop-2xxxx.

Any idea please suggest.

Not clear what you're asking.

Is the same machine/IP resolving to different names in the log?

Are some machine/IPs resolving properly and others not?

In cases where it is NOT resolving, what (if any) is the relation to the name that DOES show?

Also, is Identity Awareness used on the gateways in question?

Also, what version/jumbo hotfix level?

- Yes, some IP address mapping with source machine name not correct.

Are some machine/IPs resolving properly and others not?

- Yes, we got this issue for some machine

Also, is Identity Awareness used on the gateways in question?

- Yes.

From table the source address resolve name is correct but source machine name is not correct. It is other machine.

what version/jumbo hotfix level?

In this case, the Source is the reverse DNS of the IP address (I believe).

The Source Machine Name comes from what was acquired through Identity Awareness (by Active Directory).

You might want to check what the gateway says using the expert command adlog a query all
