Generic Data Center ignoring proxy

Hello,

we are currently trying to use the Generic Data Center Object with R81 for the first time. We try to querry the Akamai Site Shield API.

We can see the request from the Management server directly to the Akamai IP outgoing. However we need the management server to use our explicit proxy for this request.

The correct proxy is set on Management -> Network Management -> Proxy however the request from the management server is ignoring this setting.

Has somebody experience with this problem?

Was the proxy configuration in place prior or was this only set to achieve this purpose?

Similarly is the GAiA level proxy set here or no?

Proxy was already in place before and is the same proxy is set on GAiA level also already before.

Found myself in a similar situation in which proxy was ignored. Found that in the vsec.conf file the is a configuration that overrides the OS/SmartConsole proxy settings which must be set to 'true' named useSystemProxy. If set to true and the vsec controller is restarted this got the DC objects to start using the Proxy address.
