can I export the list of web application categories
Our risk group is wanting to review and compare the application categories in App Control to other categories used by other similar tools in our environment to try and see if we can line up our policies as close as possible across toolsets. I am hoping to be able to export the list.
Thanks
James

While I don't think you can export the list directly, the information is available in other forms already:
- URL Filtering Categories
- Application Control Categories -- Only accurate to R77.30, I believe
- Deprecated Categories in Application Control R77.30 / R80 and above -- Should give you the delta for the above list.

actually as of the latest R80.20 Mgmt it is possible.
Open up the Object Explorer, select Application/Categories, then Categories, and on top 'Actions-> Export'
That'll export it as a .CSV file

Is there a way to get a list of all the URLs belong to one category like Financial Services?

Hi Dany,
unfortunately I see we do not have public available refference with complete and updated list. App wiki does not contain all url categories. in smartconsole we do have something like 162 categories. But on app wiki is only part of that. Same like phoneboys list to ulr, contains only part of that. could we take it offline and do something with it?
