Changing mask for vIP of the clustered VTI interfaces

We are trying to establish the communication with the peer that provided /30 network for the dynamic routing via VPN.

As we have a cluster on our side, we have to create the vIP to assign the address specified by the peer.

When "Get interfaces" is performed to ingest the VTIs, the mask that is assigned to the vIP is /32 and while the field for the mask looks like it is editable, we cannot change it to /30.

Please suggest how this could be accomplished.

Thank you.

Technically a VTI is a point-to-point interface.
That means it doesn't really have a subnet mask, but just a remote end.
That would suggest /32 is correct.

Not really. Traditional P2P links were /30.

Take a look at this excerpt from Cisco:

Not disagreeing that it can't be done that way (though a /30 wastes two addresses).
What does ifconfig for the interface say?
