CPSEMD low disk space - disk space left

In our company we use Dedicated Log Server with SmartEvent enabled (R82.10 JHF Take 9, Open server).

In SmartConsole I saw the warning: CPSEMD low disk space - disk space left 4198 MB. The same error I saw when running the "cpstat cpsemd" command in clish.

Following the sk164632 the warning disappeared. Now old files on /var/log partition are deleted automatically when free disk space is below 15%. My problem is that 15% means for us 500 GB. So it is the waste of disk space capacity.

Ignoring the warning in SmartConsole is not the way for me (my colleagues will say: "Hey, something is wrong with Check Point").

Is there some way how change the 85% constant mentioned in KB to higher number? Or are there any plans to remove the software bug from R77.30 ages?

Hi,

I am not 100% sure, but I thought you could change a configuration file so this message would not appear.

I found the following (old) article.

sk113265 - "Correlation Unit <Correlation_Unit_Server_Name (IP_Address)> is running out of disk spac...

Again, not 100% sure this is possible on the R82.x versions.

That sk looks promising, but the "main_properties" object is missing when I connect to our SmartEvent Server (R82 JHF-91).
