Is cpclean still around and supported?
Scenario is to remove a number of SmartConsole instances from a Windows host all in one go, avoiding the manual unistall of each one.
I believe this is a legacy tool and wasn't designed for this specific purpose.
This is cpclean.exe from sk38826 CPclean utility for Full Disk Encryption Pointsec PC - version 6.x, 7.x and E80, April 2009 - was used to remove EPS installation from Windows completely. So nothing for SmartConsole, sorry...
CPClean is no longer supported with our newer client installs, E80.40, and Smart Dashboard/Console installs since E80.40/R75.40/R76. Please DO NOT USE IT. I will likely cause corruption and make the issue worse than actually help.
CPClean or any cleaner tool we have should no longer be used.
Hi @JPFG
Please email me directly so I can assist. This would be easier through a remote session so I can see what your dealing with and if your server still exists or not. I can also offer a workaround solution to change the Endpoint Client Uninstall Password on each endpoint client without an Endpoint Server, if this is not known.

OK. Thanks.
Its an old tool, but if you need it, I can probably get it for you and most likely would help in your case.
Not to worry, thanks. It's no big deal.
I probably have a copy on an old hard drive from 10+ years ago 😄
Regards,
Don
Man, 10 years ago seems like eternity, haha. Anyway, I got it, its from 2013, so if you want it, just send the secure server I can dump it for you. By the way, my little disclaimer, its totally not guaranteed tool will work, so dont shoot the messenger if it breaks anything : - )
I have a copy thanks. From 2009 🙂
Deal...if you need newer one, let me know.
Check_Point_Full_Disk_Encryption_CPclean_v80.5.0.zip from 1.9.2014 - contains the 2013 builds of CPClean_FDE.exe and CPClean_FDE.dll.
If it really starts you could uninstall PointSec FDE 6.x, 7.x or E80 completely !
If you still have a copy I would most grateful.
@JPFG CPCLEAN tool is obsolete and should not be used. Also, distribution of bynaries out of official channels is not allowed as a violation of EULA.
If you have a real case for this, open a TAC request.
Thank you for your reply. I would open a TAC but I have inhereted 20 windows 10 pro PCs that have the software installed, Now I could simply reintall all of them.. but if there is a way to uninstall the software that would be great. The company did not keep up with the payments to checkpoint and the Gentelman that looked after IT has passed away plus nobody knows any passwords in this small business. so I guess im........
I just need to remove this from those pcs so any help would be amazing
I read your response to Val and Im truly sorry to hear all that. I would 100% explain the situation to your SE, hopefully they would be able to figure something out.
Andy
Not sure, but maybe you could try the method suggested in here, using the Infinity Portal and a 30 day eval.
Building a vm to do on premises Endpoint Management for the procedure might be possible too.
That's more work than Infinity Portal though.
https://portal.checkpoint.com/signin
Click "Don't have an account.." to evaluate.
That looks promising...
Current way to remove this is using passdialog.exe file - but you need the uninstall password anyway, so clean install is the easiest option i fear...

This is software museum, last build 12 years old... Never try this anywhere!
It might be "museum", but it did the job lol

Thanks Justin.
Thats fair, but I tried it before and it DOES work : - )
Although it works please DO NOT USE IT. If it causes an issue we cannot support it since we do not support any cleaner tools any longer and we have no plans to create any new ones. These older tools were not create to understand our newer client architecture and can cause serious damage to the Endpoint Client and the OS to where a reimage may be necessary.
I used it and works fine. I know its unsupported, so I would never bother TAC if something went wrong, trust me 🙂
