Install EDR macOS

Hi,

I’m using macOS with Check Point Endpoint Security version 89.10.6951 installed. The client appears disabled, and the Anti-Malware database isn’t updating, even though I’ve granted all necessary permissions in macOS (System Preferences → Security & Privacy).

Are there any additional commands I can run on macOS to troubleshoot or fix this issue?

Thanks for your help!

Best regards,

Open the Endpoint Security client and click on Menu in the lower right of the window.
Use the Collect Logs option and review them.

Of course, this could be a function of the blades deployed by your administrator, also.

You could try:

endpoint client status -> sudo /Applications/Endpoint\ Security.app/Contents/MacOS/Endpoint\ Security -s

check if service is running -> ps aux | grep -i endpoint

if not running, try restart -> sudo launchctl list | grep -i endpoint

manually restarting endpoint ->

sudo launchctl kickstart -k system/com.checkpoint.epwd
sudo launchctl kickstart -k system/com.checkpoint.cptam

force anti-malware database update:

sudo /Library/Application\ Support/Checkpoint/Endpoint\ Security/uninstall_database
sudo /Library/Application\ Support/Checkpoint/Endpoint\ Security/cptam -u

Thats all I got : - )
