When attempting to use the /createMSI switch I receive the error illegal characters in path
Actually, I just found how to create the MSI.
The .exe needs to be renamed to "EndpointSetup.exe".
Then you can run the command EndpointSetup.exe /CreateMSI and it will work fine, creating the file "EPS.msi" as expected.
Cool stuff..... Hopefully that saves others some time.
Any more details?
What more details would you like? This seems to happen these days however we setup the deployment package, and whether we run it with the default name it downloads as or rename that file to endpoint.exe or setup.exe
Hi @STUARTROSE-WSH , did you manage to create the MSI and find a way in the end? I am also having this error and I can't seem to find a way to generate the MSI anymore from my exported dynamic package.. Thanks.
