Congratulations!

Nice share. Great info 👍

It is also worth adding a few other links in here for anyone who is also getting started on the journey or getting exams done.

Tim did a great write up on the difference between the last two versions.

We'll need another one early next year, now that R82 is released (yesterday). 😉

I always recommend to go to the Pearson VUE site before taking exams.

There are some nice promotions going on this month:

The FAQ SK is also good to check on in case of rule changes and any other information about expiring certs, extension and other options or new certification exams.

Matt Manning (UK Presales) has done some good videos too:

Congrats! One thing I learned for any exam (whether be IT or anything else) is this...read the questions CAREFULLY, as most of the time, answer itself "lies" in the question : - )

I always find that in any exam, when you see words like easiest or quickest in the question, thats when they try to trick you : - )

Hi Davi_Rib

Thanks for sharing your information, please tell us about Jump Starts training, which Jump Starts exactly are CCSA? There are quite a few and as a beginner I can't really find my way around Jump Starts for CCSA preparation.

Thank you!

There is not really a "Jump Starts for CCSA preparation" if you are thinking about taking the exam and looking to learn and study for it.

The best study and exam preparation material is the CCSA courseware. That is the CCSA course book.

You get a copy of that (for life) when you go on the CCSA course:

https://training-certifications.checkpoint.com/#/courses/Security%20Administration%20R81.20%20(CCSA)

Have a look here for more details on the courseware (the CCSA book):

https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Training-and-Certification/Clarification-on-the-E-Kits/m-p/22895...

(scroll up to see my take on them, but also check out Tim's post and the link he shared)

Otherwise, to help you learn more and ultimately also learn, Start here:

And don't miss this one (repeat from above):

Other useful info:

https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Management/R80-10-Architecture-Overview/td-p/3159?attachment-id=...

 - That is from here: https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Management/R80-10-Architecture-Overview/td-p/3159

This is not all in the CCSA but still valid and interesting (worth knowing):

Magnus did the CCSA video series but that is not based on the CCSA courseware, so it will be helpful but the book is the best material and for most it is required reading for the exam.

Happy learning,

Don

This is great! I've been searching for something comprehensive to use while studying for the CCSA instead of tracking down a random link here or there. Thank you!
