How to create Acclaim Badges?

What do I have to do in the check Point User Center for Certification Badges to appear on Acclaim?

See all Badgets:

Check Point Software Technologies - Acclaim

I am CCSM R77.30. Will this also apply to older valid certifications?

Best Regards

Heiko

UPDATE: Check Point has decided to issue R77 badges for those individuals that hold valid R77 certs. This will be done throughout September timeframe.

Here is the official response from Education Services:

---------------------------------

All users will get their Badges by end of July. We started to issue badges to R80 certification, Specialist in Emerging techs and more badges for Skills, Awards and more…

R77 certifications won’t get a badge. It’s R80 and above…

---------------------------------

Hope this explains it.

Will the badges also be available for old r77.30 certifications? If so, what do you have to do to get it.

Not applicable

I have asked our Educational Services to comment here, but my best guess is that the badges are only valid for certifications available now. You should be able to get a new badge once you renew your expiring older certifications.

Hi Valeri,

Until a few weeks ago you could only take the CCSM for R77.30. R80.10 was unfortunately not yet possible. Is there a way to rewrite this for CCSM? So we can get a badge. Could you please check this with Educational Services.

It's nice when our customers know that we have several certified people in the company. This is also a significant advantage for Check Point when it comes to projects. I think you should reconsider.

There should be a Check Point CCSM badgeSmiley Happy:

Thanks for official response Valeri. But I agree here Heiko Ankenbrand‌. It is just couple weeks since you were able to take just R77.30 of CCSM for example. Many persons have freash and valid certification and it could take some time until they take a new fresh level. Pushing on R80 only is quite blind when previous version is still alive. Every advantage which zou could have possible to achieve new project/sales case should be considered. Especially when the Check Point profits from it.

Hi Petr, thanks for your feedback, I will make sure it reaches relevant decision makers at Check Point.

Now, just to clarify, the only issue in question here is the Acclaim Badges. Nobody pushes you to renew certification, existing R77.x certifications are still valid till expire. Valid certification is relevant for all needs and purposes: sales and partnership status, projects, etc. We cannot issue you a badge retroactively for the certification that is done in the past. However, we promise you a new badge once you re-certify with R80.
