expert password reset via Smart-1 cloud

We lost the expert password of one of our SMB appliances. They are managed centrally via Smart-1 cloud.

How to reset the Expert mode password on a Quantum Spark Appliance with Gaia Embedded OS option 4. will be the solution if managed via on premise SMS.

Is this possible with Smart-1 cloud, maybe TAC can do ?

Weird, I had same issue yesterday.

I could login to the Spark appliance, via cli however did not know the expert-password.
So I ended using an existing hash from the admin user as the new expert-password and that worked.

See sk92347 steps 3 and 4, step 5 did not work (save config).

I know this sounds silly, but the one thing I could not see is how to actually do a 'save config'.

"save config" is not required on Embedded Gaia the same way it is on regular Gaia.

I always though you needed to do a save config, if you made a change in CLISH, so it survives a reboot.

Also appreciate, this does not tackle Wolfgang's question.  It certainly would be good to see TAC answer this via an SK.

Right, this is the case on regular Gaia.
This is one of the handful of ways Embedded Gaia differs from regular Gaia.
