About coexistence of Quantum and Spark on Smart-1 Cloud

Hello Team

We are planning to introduce two Spark appliances soon, and currently, one Quantum GW is running with Smart-1 Cloud in our environment.

In this case, would the CPSM-CLOUD-5-SMB-GW-SME-1Y license be sufficient?

Also, I noticed that Spark Management can be selected in the Infinity Portal. Can Quantum GW and Spark be managed as integrated objects on Smart-1 Cloud?

If they can coexist, what is the role of Spark Management?

Thank you for all the advice.

Smart-1 Cloud can manage both "classic" Quantum gateways (GAIA) and Spark gateways (GAIA Embedded).

The license that you mentioned (that has "SMB" in it) is only for Spark gateways and will not cover the larger Quantum gateway. You either need to mix Spark licenses and regular Quantum licenses, or use just the regular ones that cover both.

Spark Management is a more "lightweight" management that can only manage Spark gateways. It is tailored to MSP use case, but does not include the full SmartConsole capabilities.
