Hi All
I want to send traps over a vpn to my HQ, however I have noticed that they are getting blocked as they are being sourced from the external IP of the firewall which isnt part of the vpn domain.
Is it possible to change the trap source IP on the gateway?
cheers
I believe this is determined by the /etc/hosts mapping to the system's uname/hostname, what does the clish command "show host names" reveal? Generally this is the mechanism to determine the source IP address used when the Gaia OS (of which SNMP is a part) needs to initiate traffic somewhere.
