Hello ,
What version of SNMP is enabled, v1, v2 or v3?
SNMP v1 and v2 use community strings (passwords) that are sent in clear-text. It is possible to
use a packet-sniffer to detect these strings and gain control of objects that are managed with
SNMP.
SNMP v3 uses the MD5 hashing algorithm for authentication and DES for encryption. We
recommend that you use SNMP v3 authentication and message encryption whenever possible.
Which means it is not possible to see the credentials in the clear form but only in hashed form
